Today, we’re proud to announce the commissioning of Project Big Stone, one of the largest battery storage systems in the world. The 5 gigawatt-hour, multi-day thermal battery project is already delivering round-the-clock energy to POET, the world’s largest producer of biofuels, at its Big Stone City, SD plant.

Project Big Stone advanced from an empty lot to delivering energy in under 12 months, deploying over 200 of Antora's thermal batteries at the speed required to meet surging domestic energy demand.

The project has created and supported over 300 jobs from South Dakota to our San Jose, CA gigafactory, where all of our batteries are made. It delivers affordable, reliable energy without increasing costs for other consumers. And it makes POET’s plant more efficient and more competitive, enabling them to increase production and create tens of millions of dollars each year in new market opportunities for local farmers.

But above all, this project shows what's now possible: firm, affordable, clean energy, delivered fast and at massive scale.

Now, we're moving quickly to replicate the speed and scale of Project Big Stone, and deploy more major projects to industrial facilities and data centers in the United States and around the world.

Today would not be possible without the extraordinary work of everyone—at Antora and beyond—who brought this project to life.

Thank you for being a part of this journey.
