Andrew is an energy entrepreneur, engineer, and expert in scaling clean energy technology.  

Prior to founding Antora, Andrew founded the solar energy company Dragonfly Systems. Dragonfly developed and commercialized novel power electronics for utility-scale solar power plants, and was acquired by SunPower in 2014. Ponec led Dragonfly’s team through concept generation, prototyping, validation testing, manufacturing, and installation.

Andrew received his B.S. in energy systems engineering from Stanford University, where he researched advanced photovoltaics and power electronics.

As CCO, David partners with customers, renewable energy providers, utilities, and financiers to electrify industrial operations.

Dr. Bierman earned his Ph.D. in mechanical engineering from MIT, where he developed a novel solid-state energy converter and a variety of thermal storage concepts. These innovations helped revitalize the field and were featured in a number of media outlets, including Scientific American, MIT Technology Review, IEEE Spectrum and others. In 2017, Dr. Bierman founded thermal energy storage startup Marigold Power. Marigold Power became part of Antora Energy, which he co-founded in 2018 with Andrew Ponec and Dr. Justin Briggs.

As COO, Justin oversees business operations, policy, communications, talent acquisition, people operations, and EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) at Antora.

Dr. Briggs holds a B.S. in physics from UC Berkeley and a Ph.D. in applied physics from Stanford University. During his Ph.D., Dr. Briggs developed next-generation renewable energy technology and conducted research on high-temperature materials for energy generation and storage applications. From 2007 to 2017, he held research positions at MBio Diagnostics, Berkeley Lab, NCAR, and Berkeley Space Sciences, and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).

Jason Evans leads Antora's energy team, partnering with utilities to meet the heat and power needs of the grid's largest energy consumers. Jason has over 15 years of experience in the energy sector, including co-founding and operating a utility-scale solar company and developing renewable energy projects for over a decade. Over the last five years, Jason led energy strategy and renewable procurement for large industrial loads, including at Amazon Web Services. At Amazon, Jason originated, structured and negotiated gigawatts of renewable transactions and joint ventures across the Americas to help Amazon fulfill its Climate Pledge.

Jason holds a JD from the University of Chicago and a B.A. from Pomona College.

Adam is a distinguished communications leader, political advisor, and executive with experience ranging from Fortune 50 companies to the White House.

Previously, Adam served as VP of Corporate and Executive Communications at PepsiCo, where he led global corporate communications strategy and planning.

Adam holds degrees from Princeton University and the London School of Economics, where he was a Fulbright Scholar.

Ty is a dynamic leader with more than 25 years of experience launching and growing energy businesses.

Before joining Antora, Ty managed hundreds of clean energy projects, raised over $300M of corporate, government, and venture financing, and started energy business units at companies such as Google, General Motors, and Xerox PARC. At Google X, he developed Tapestry, a system that allows utilities to better manage and model the electric utility grid and accelerate the deployment of renewables. Most recently, Ty launched the General Motors V2X business unit as a founding executive at GM Energy.

Ty holds an MBA from Wharton.

Prior to joining Antora, Nehali shaped climate strategy at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, invested in early-stage climate technologies at Mission One Capital, and drove business development and operations at climate tech startups including Form Energy, Verdox, and Praan. Previously, Nehali spent five years in management consulting at BCG, where she focused on energy and industrial production.

Nehali holds an MBA from Wharton and B.S. in Chemical Engineering from IIT Delhi.

Jordan is an expert in energy markets and policy with a decade of experience deploying major projects to electrify industrial heat.

Over the past decade, Jordan has developed megawatts of first-of-a-kind power-to-heat projects alongside energy users, renewable energy generators, and utilities. Jordan founded and served as CEO of Medley Thermal, an electrification developer and software provider, from 2017 until its acquisition by Antora in 2022.

Jordan holds a B.A. in Politics and Engineering from Washington and Lee University and an M.S. in Technology & Policy and Nuclear Science & Engineering from MIT.

Jordan leads Antora’s product strategy and market analytics, guiding the company’s zero-emission heat and power products from concept to development and market launch.
 

Prior to Antora, as a member of the executive team at Invenergy, Jordan played a key role in executing on a 100+ GW global pipeline of utility-scale wind, solar, storage, and transmission projects. He led the launch of several new products and business units, including distributed energy resources, green hydrogen, long-duration energy storage, electric vehicle fleet charging, and offshore wind. Jordan then conceptualized and led the creation of Reactivate, Invenergy’s community solar arm, where he served as Senior Vice President of Product. Previously, he worked as a consultant in Deloitte's Strategy & Operations practice.
 

Jordan holds a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Pittsburgh.

Mathew O'Sullivan has 15 years of experience at the intersection of infrastructure, finance, and technology. He has worked on $20B+ of transactions across M&A, public equity and debt capital markets, venture, and project finance.

Prior to Antora, he served as VP of Strategy at Cavnue, where he contributed to the commercialization of first-of-a-kind infrastructure products and was responsible for strategic finance, including execution of the company's Series A. He previously worked in Citigroup's investment banking division and at CrossBoundary, an investment and advisory firm.

Mathew holds an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth and a B.A. from Washington & Lee University.

Jerome is a seasoned operations executive with three decades of experience launching and building major manufacturing and supply chain operations.

Before joining Antora, Jerome served as VP of Operations at Turntide Technologies, where he oversaw production, contract manufacturing, distribution logistics, and supply chain management. Previously, he led manufacturing operations and supply chain strategy at Liquid Robotics, which was acquired by Boeing. Jerome has held leadership roles at Looxcie, Automation Controls, ATMI, and Microbar.

Jerome holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Santa Clara University.

Stephen is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience bringing  major energy products from R&D to large-scale commercial production.

At Mainspring Energy, Dr. Sharratt managed engineering teams for key subsystems during a period of rapid growth and productization. Previously, he held engineering roles at KLA Corporation and JPL.

Dr. Sharratt holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from UCLA and a B.S. from UC Berkeley.
